Mrs. McCarter is a business planning professional with cross-functional skills in marketing, value-chain management, and engineering. Since 1995, she has developed a professional niche for satisfying customer needs with cost effective solutions.
Prior to joining the Michigan Statewide Minority Business Development Center, Tasha’s worked with General Motors Corporation as a Market Analyst and Albert Kahn Associates, Inc. as a consulting engineer. Within these roles she developed her problem solving, analysis, and situation assessment skills. Her key accomplishments are in the areas of Business Process Improvement, Project Management, and Strategic Planning.
Mrs. McCarter's educational background includes a BS in Electrical Engineering at Tuskegee University and an MBA with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University.
