Trucking firm Con-way reduces profit outlook, jobs

China's Ag Dev Bank says '08 operating profit up 37 pct

BEIJING, Jan 5 (Reuters) - The Agricultural Development Bank of China, one of two remaining policy banks, reported a 37 percent increase in operating profit for 2008, the official Financial News reported.
The bank, with a policy mission to support China's agricultural sector with low-interest lending, said it made 20.4 billion yuan ($3 billion) in operating profit last year, 5.5 billion yuan more than in 2007.
